SENIOR CHARTERED SURVEYOR

SRVO • £Competitive, aligned to experience • Hybrid – London / South East

ROLE OVERVIEW

This role is designed for an MRICS-qualified Chartered Surveyor ready to operate with senior authority within a growing consultancy.

  • You’ll lead complex instructions across residential and commercial portfolios, acting as a trusted adviser to clients while managing technically demanding projects from inception through to completion.
  • The role requires strong professional judgement, commercial awareness and the confidence to take ownership of delivery across multiple live projects.
  • Rather than being restricted to one service line, you’ll operate across building pathology, major works delivery, compliance-led reporting and strategic advisory work.
  • Your contribution will directly influence client relationships, service quality and regional growth, positioning you for progression toward Associate and leadership roles.

ROLE EXPECTATIONS

  • You’ll manage your own workload independently, leading projects and deploying junior colleagues where appropriate to maintain high delivery standards and commercial efficiency.
  • You’ll take ownership of client relationships, ensuring clear communication, sound professional advice and commercially balanced recommendations.
  • You’ll contribute to the continued development of junior surveyors and APC candidates, strengthening technical standards while supporting the growth and reputation of the business.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • You’ll be successful in this role if:
    • You confidently lead multiple live projects while maintaining quality and commercial control.
    • Your technical advice is trusted by clients and influences key decisions.
    • You manage risk effectively across contract administration and compliance-led instructions.
    • You strengthen existing client relationships and identify opportunities for further work.
    • You mentor junior surveyors and contribute positively to team performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
