Hereford

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Salary: 14.50

Hours: 32.5 per week

A co-educational specialist residential college of further education based in the English city of Hereford. Catering for around 100 students and teachers. We offer a delivered breakfast, lunch, and supper. This is a Monday to Sunday operation with lots of hospitality. Additional benefits of this location are free parking and discounted gym membership for on-site facilities.


About the Role

We are looking for a talented Senior Chef De Partie to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Hereford.

This is a 52-week position.

Key Responsibilities

  • To work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to pupils and teachers
  • Ensure all food preparation meets/exceeds standards
  • Supervise junior members of the team
  • Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure no cross-contamination
  • To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the company's brand standards
  • Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled
  • Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed

Knowledge / Competencies

  • Ability to demonstrate a reasonable/good understanding and use of verbal English
  • Ability to demonstrate a reasonable/good standard of written English and reading skills
  • Similar experience of customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred
