About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to prepare and cook food to high standards while supporting kitchen operations at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts. This role will ensure quality, presentation, and consistency while assisting in maintaining efficient kitchen workflows and team collaboration.


Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Quality Assurance

  • Prepare special meals or substitutions while maintaining portioning, arrangement, and garnishing standards.
  • Monitor and maintain food quality and quantity, logging all relevant details.
  • Oversee cold food preparation, ensuring freshness and flavor integrity.

Operation & Compliance

  • Regulate oven, broiler, grill, and roaster temperatures to assure even cooking.
  • Pull and thaw frozen ingredients as needed.
  • Adhere to company safety and security policies, including reporting maintenance needs, injuries, or unsafe conditions.

Guest & Team Support

  • Collaborate with Food & Beverage service staff to inform them of menu specials or stock issues.
  • Communicate any excess prepared food for use in daily specials.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ needs with clear, professional communication.

Costume & Hygiene Compliance

  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance.
  • Protect intellectual/company assets (e.g., recipes, standards).

Contextual Awareness

  • emetical tasks: Bending, stooping, pulling/pushing objects ≤25 lbs, standing/walking for extended shifts.
  • May assist in non-supervisory personnel training when needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Education: Equivalent of a Technical/Vocational School Degree.
  • Work Experience: Minimum 3 years in a related kitchen role.

Note: Supervisory experience is not required.

Licenses & Certifications

  • None listed; ongoing safety certification through training applies.
