Job Title: Senior Chef de Partie
We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Inspire on a full time basis contracted to 40 hours per week. As a Senior Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and serving the kind of food that truly brightens our clients' and customers' days, all within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Salary: £29,500 per annum
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
Location: Belhaven Hill School
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver high-quality main meals for up to 200+ students and staff, ensuring consistency, presentation, and nutritional standards are met.
- Support the Head Chef with menu planning, development, and the creation of popular school dishes that appeal to a wide range of ages.
- Assist with ordering and stock management, ensuring ingredients are available and wastage is minimised.
- Take responsibility for all due diligence documentation, including food safety records, temperature checks, and allergen management whilst on shift.
- Ensure all allergen information is accurately recorded and communicated, maintaining full compliance with food safety legislation.
- Produce a variety of school favourites while demonstrating basic baking skills for desserts, snacks, and bakery items.
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene, health & safety, and kitchen cleanliness at all times.
- Support junior team members during service, helping to ensure an efficient and well-organised kitchen operation.
