About the Role
Weâre excited to launch our newest pizzeria in Wimbledon and are searching for passionate Senior Chefs to join us from day one as part of the opening team! If you love making Neapolitan pizza, contributing to a high-energy team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences, this is your chance to be part of something incredible.
The Former Pizza Pilgrims Journey
- Founded by Thom & James, who journeyed from Sicily to London in a Piaggio Ape Tuk Tuk to master the art of Neapolitan pizza under a "Pizza Pilgrimage."
- Evolved from a Soho market stall (with an oven in a van!) to a networking canvas of 20+ award-winning UK pizzerias.
- Own Pizza Pilgrims Academy, offering daily training workshops.

What Actually Happened Celebration (Responsibilities)
As a Senior Chef at Pizza Pilgrims Wimbledon, youâll:
- Specialise in perfecting Neapolitan fire, dough, and toppingsâcreating pizza that thrills every guest.
- Team leadership, ensuring alignment with ambitious opening goals.
- Drive health & safety complianceâbecause pizza fun comes with zero compromises.
- Manage stock control with ingredients sourced from Naples itself (including Cupola flour, fresh farinita, fior di latte, and authentic friarielle).
- Oversee pizza menu launches, celebrating recipe innovations together.
- Champion kitchen maintenance, guaranteeing every restaurant runs smooth as dough fresh from the bakery.
- Stand as a kitchen quality guardianâverifying every slice hits perfection.
- Spend 14+ hours with the team, baking happiness seven nights a week.
