We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Senior Children’s Support Worker to join our solo home in Wakefield. Person-centred support, both for our young person and our staff, is at the heart of our care. As a senior, you’ll lead by example, helping to create a home where they feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive. From daily routines to emotional support, your role will be vital in shaping positive outcomes and building trust.

Requirements
Essential
- A Level 3 (or above) Diploma in Residential Childcare (or acceptable equivalent)
- At least 12 months of experience working in a children’s home setting
- Supervisory experience in childcare or related field
- Flexibility to work shift patterns, including sleep-ins (2-on, 4-off rota, subject to rotas)
- A full, UK driving licence
- Must be over 21 years old (compliance with industry regulations)

Estimated salary based on:
- £13.80 to £15.45 per hour (days)
- Up to 12 sleep nights per month (£60 per night)
