Senior Civil Engineer

Senior Civil Design Engineer

Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 per annum Type: Full Time Region: UK - South West Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire Reference: BBBH3945_1783066027


About The Role

As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will:

  • Design drainage, highways, estate roads, and earthworks for residential developments.
  • Prepare technical drawings and reports.
  • Produce Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Statements.
  • Work with S278 and S38 agreements.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.
  • Remain hands-on with technical project delivery.
  • Take ownership of projects and deliver technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in drainage design for residential or development projects.
  • Working knowledge of:
    • Civil 3D
    • AutoCAD
    • MicroDrainage
    • Causeway Flow (or similar tools).
  • Familiarity with highway and estate road design, including S278 and S38 agreements.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and support junior team members.
