Senior Civil Design Engineer
Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 per annum Type: Full Time Region: UK - South West Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire Reference: BBBH3945_1783066027
About The Role
As a Senior Civil Design Engineer, you will:
- Design drainage, highways, estate roads, and earthworks for residential developments.
- Prepare technical drawings and reports.
- Produce Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Statements.
- Work with S278 and S38 agreements.
- Provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.
- Remain hands-on with technical project delivery.
- Take ownership of projects and deliver technical solutions.
Requirements
- Strong experience in drainage design for residential or development projects.
- Working knowledge of:
- Civil 3D
- AutoCAD
- MicroDrainage
- Causeway Flow (or similar tools).
- Familiarity with highway and estate road design, including S278 and S38 agreements.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and support junior team members.
