Natta Building Company is seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our team in Harlow. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role in delivering high-quality civil engineering projects while supporting the development of graduate engineers.
About the Role
As a Senior Engineer, you will:
- Oversee dimensional control on site and ensure all works are carried out to the highest technical standards
- Contribute to programme delivery
- Lead team management and support health & safety, quality, and environmental performance in a proactive manner
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement safe systems of work across site operations
- Ensure scheduled activities meet programme requirements and deadlines
- Monitor dimensional control and adherence to technical compliance guidelines
- Efficiently manage and allocate resources to achieve project goals
- Mentor graduate engineers and guide them through the ICE (Institution of Civil Engineers) training scheme
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Critically review and challenge designs for improved buildability and efficiency
- Maintain quality control standards and reduce defects
- Promote and maintain excellence in safety standards

Requirements
Essential:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with ICE
- Minimum 5 years’ post-chartership experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and robotic EDM (electronic distance measurement)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills
- High attention to detail with strong numerical ability
Desirable:
- Direct experience in groundworks, civil engineering, basements, and high-end residential projects
- Prior experience in a similar Senior Engineer role
- People management experience
- Knowledge of laser-guided concrete screed systems
- SSSTS (Site Safety Supervisor Training Scheme) certificate
- Full UK driving licence
