Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Wigan, Greater Manchester
Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP60,000

A well-established civil and structural consultancy is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support continued growth across residential and commercial development projects. Known for technical quality and repeat business, this team delivers highways and drainage schemes that consistently stand out.
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will take ownership of roads and drainage design, manage S104, S38, and S278 approvals, and mentor junior engineers. This Senior Infrastructure Engineer role combines hands-on delivery with leadership and client engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver highways and drainage designs to programme and budget
- Lead technical approvals and negotiations with authorities
- Ensure compliance with current UK standards
- Support fee proposals and project budgets
- Review technical outputs and mentor junior staff
Candidate Requirements
- Around five years consultancy experience
- Strong roads, drainage, and development infrastructure background
- Proficient in AutoCAD with MicroDrainage and PDS or similar
- Solid understanding of SuDS and hydraulic principles
- Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering
