About the Business Unit
The Energy unit serves clients worldwide across hydropower, nuclear, waste, renewable generation, and transmission & distribution networks. We provide integrated engineering and project management services from conception to decommissioning—driving the global energy transition collaboratively with our clients.
About the Role
The Nuclear, Civil, and Defence division seeks Senior Civil Engineers to innovate and lead on diverse projects spanning nuclear, defence, and infrastructure. This role delivers precursors to the UK and Europe, fostering collaboration in a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Manage projects through all stages: feasibility, concept, design, planning, construction, and commissioning.
- Collaborate across disciplines, liaising with internal engineers and external stakeholders to deliver cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
- Lead or undertake design checks for civil engineering across energy, defence, and infrastructure projects.
- Draft specifications and functional requirements in English for civil engineering components.
- Overseas civil infrastructure inspections, providing detailed inspection reports in English.
- Offer consultative solutions tailored to clients’ needs.
- Conduct site visits and office engagements based on project demands.
- Enhance client relationships by identifying opportunities for growth.
- Develop and monitor programmes for scheduling, costs, and deliverables.
- Assist with project administration/management as needed.
- Mentor staff development within the team.

Requirements
- Holder of Chartered status (or equivalent with significant progress) toward such.
- Advantageous: Prior experience in energy or regulated industries (not mandatory).
- Exceptional communication skills critical for cross-functional teams and client interactions.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
