At SCOR, claims is a key driver of client relationships, portfolio performance and underwriting insight.
We're looking for a Senior Claims Expert to join our Global P&C Claims team in London, where you'll manage some of the most significant and technically challenging reinsurance treaty claims in the market. Working across Property, Casualty, Marine, Aviation and Alternative Solutions portfolios, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to clients whilst protecting SCOR's interests and supporting profitable growth.

Some of the key areas of responsibility will be as follows;
- Managing a portfolio of complex reinsurance treaty claims across London and international markets
- Handling major and high-profile losses from first notification through to resolution
- Making informed coverage, reserving and settlement decisions on technically challenging claims
- Providing strategic claims insight to underwriting and actuarial teams
- Building trusted relationships with cedants, brokers and key clients
- Supporting account management activities and helping deliver a market-leading client experience
- Analysing emerging loss trends and contributing to portfolio performance discussions
- Reviewing contract wordings and collaborating with Underwriting and Legal on claims implications
- Coaching and mentoring junior colleagues while contributing to a high-performing global claims community
We're interested in speaking with experienced claims professionals who bring:
- Significant insurance and/or reinsurance claims experience
- Strong technical expertise in treaty reinsurance claims
- Experience handling complex Property and Casualty claims, ideally with exposure to Marine, Aviation or Specialty lines
- Excellent understanding of claims reserving, coverage analysis and policy interpretation
- Strong relationship management skills and confidence engaging with brokers, cedants and senior stakeholders
- Commercial acumen, sound judgement and a solutions-focused mindset
- The ability to influence, collaborate and build credibility across a global organisation
