We handle thousands of incidents and pride ourselves on delivering practical, commercially focused solutions in a fast-evolving threat landscape.
The Role
As a Senior Cyber Claims Handler, you will play a key role in managing cyber insurance claims arising from data breaches, ransomware attacks, business interruption, and other cyber events. You will work closely with our lawyers, technical experts, insurers, and clients to ensure efficient, fair, and timely resolution of claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and assess cyber claims, including reviewing incident reports, forensic findings, coverage analysis, and quantum.
- Manage the end-to-end claims process: from notification through to settlement, including coordination with breach response teams, legal counsel, and third-party experts.
- Liaise with policyholders, brokers, and insurers to gather information, negotiate resolutions, and mitigate losses.
- Support regulatory notifications (e.g., GDPR, data protection authorities) and manage potential subrogation or recovery actions.
- Analyse trends in cyber claims to contribute to risk insights and improve claims handling processes.
- Maintain accurate records and provide regular updates to stakeholders using our case management systems.
- Collaborate with our global cyber team on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
