Senior Client Accountant - Essex - £45,000 - £55,000 DOE

Our client, a firm of Chartered Surveyors, specialising in commercial Property and Asset Management are looking for an experienced Senior Client Accountant to join their accounts team based in Essex. This is an exciting time to join the company as they can offer great career progression.

Responsibilities

Prepare and issue client statements and any supplementary reports and documents as required across a set portfolio Prepare and issue VAT reports, completing VAT submissions to HMRC where applicable Monthly and quarterly charge raising Preparing and checking of lease completion statements Dealing with all lease maintenance across the portfolio for new leases, rent reviews, assignments, etc. Preparing service charge budget packs and input of completed budgets Client liaison for the set portfolio, answering any queries or providing information in a timely and professional manner Liaising with tenants on queries as required Preparation of service charge year end reconciliations - dealing with external auditors on queries as required Utility recharges to tenant and client accounts Other duties as may be required

Skills And Experience Required

Minimum 3 years' experience working within property accounts/service charge Experience with commercial, residential or block management Systems experience such as TRAMPS, Horizon, Qube etc. (Tramps & Horizon both used) Advanced excel skills Excellent organisation and communication skills, both oral and written A professional and organised approach to work A positive and helpful attitude within a team environment Experience working with trial balance/cash reconciliations

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 DOE

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, office based, flexibility considered for the right person. Parking available.
