Senior Client Advisor – Recorded as an Ambassador for International Luxury Menswear

We are partnering with an internationally renowned luxury fashion house, celebrated for its heritage of Italian craftsmanship, timeless elegance, and exceptional tailoring expertise. Located within one of the world’s most prestigious luxury shopping destinations, this opportunity is ideally suited to a highly accomplished luxury retail professional with a profound passion for menswear, sartorial excellence, and client relationship management.

About the Role

As a Senior Client Advisor, you will embody the brand’s values—craftsmanship, excellence, discretion, and exceptional service—while crafting an elevated, hyper-personalised experience for an international clientele. Leveraging your expertise in luxury menswear and made-to-measure services, you will guide clients through every stage of their wardrobe journey, fostering enduring forged-through-trust relationships.

This role demands a true specialist in luxury menswear, with a meticulous understanding of tailoring, fabrication, garment construction, and bespoke client consultation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver world-class client experiences through personalised styling, wardrobe-building, and relationship management.
  • Develop and cultivate a portfolio of loyal, high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Proactively enhance sales performance via client outreach, scheduled appointments, private shopping experiences, and clienteling initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive made-to-measure consultations, including:
    • Accurate measurements
    • Expert advice on fit, silhouette, and garment construction
  • Serve as a trusted style advisor, offering tailored guidance across:
    • Tailoring, formal wear, smart casual, and luxury wardrobe solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with atelier and production teams to ensure flawless execution of custom orders.
  • Maintain an in-depth awareness of seasonal collections, fabrication innovations, and tailoring techniques.
  • Share technical product knowledge and luxury client engagement best practices with colleagues while supporting team growth.
  • Commit to upholding the brand ambassadorship at every interaction.

Candidate Profile

Minimum requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience in luxury menswear retail.
  • Proven expertise in Made-to-Measure (MTM) and/or bespoke tailoring environments.
  • Strong history of working with discerning international clientele and building long-term client relationships.
  • Track record of exceeding luxury sales targets.

Core knowledge and skills. The ideal candidate must master:

  • Tailoring construction methods
  • Fabric composition and performance:
    • Wool, cashmere, silk, linen, cotton, vicuña, mohair, alpaca, and luxury blends.
  • Fabric weights, seasonality, and climate-appropriate recommendations.
  • Super number classifications (e.g. Super 110s, 130s, 150s) and their impact on handle, durability, drape, and performance.
  • Stretch technologies and natural elasticity (e.g. recovery properties, fabric resilience).
  • Weaving techniques and finishes.
  • Garment fit analysis and silhouette optimisation.
  • Jacket and trousers alterations, pattern adjustments, and fitting corrections.
  • The full lifecycle of made-to-measure services, from initial consultation and measurement-taking, through multiple fittings, to final delivery.
