Senior Client Care Advisor

We are currently seeking a Senior Client Care Advisor to join our friendly and dynamic client care team. This role would be suited to someone with previous relevant experience and a desire to progress and develop within the role. Experience within a veterinary or clinical setting is preferred, but not essential.

Veterinary client care advisors do so much more than answer the phone! The role is busy, challenging and diverse – no two days are the same, and so we are looking for an outgoing, positive and articulate individual who is a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate must be a client-focused individual who can demonstrate an aptitude for multi-tasking. This role does not involve animal handling, although a love for animals goes without saying; and you must also show willingness to learn, proficient IT skills and an excellent telephone manner.

Vets for Pets Amesbury is a standalone, small animal practice, with approachable, supportive partners and a fabulous team of vets, nurses and client care advisors. The client care team is overseen by our practice owners and practice administrators who guide the team to operate to the highest of standards whilst also ensuring job satisfaction and an excellent work-life balance. As a Senior Client Care Advisor for our surgery, you will be assisting the clinical team with the day-to-day workflow of the practice, taking ownership of certain key aspects of day-to-day administration critical to practice function. You will be expected to model the highest standards of professional behaviour, as well as demonstrating a higher level of responsibility; with duties including (but not limited to):

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
