Senior Client Delivery Consultant

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Senior Client Delivery Consultant, you’ll operate in a strategic, client-facing role responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex, technology-enabled solutions. This role owns the full lifecycle of client engagements, from early-stage discovery and solution shaping through to delivery, optimisation, and long-term value realisation. Operating as a senior point of accountability, the role combines deep technical understanding, delivery leadership, and commercial awareness to ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned to client and organisational objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Act as a trusted advisor to clients and stakeholders, providing guidance on delivery approaches, technical considerations and best practice. Lead discovery workshops and requirements gathering activities, translating business needs into technology solutions and delivery roadmaps. Produce and oversee high-quality delivery artefacts, including SOWs, technical specifications and project documentation. Define solution scope and collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to ensure solutions are technically feasible, scalable and aligned to client requirements. Define, refine and prioritise requirements, ensuring clear backlogs, acceptance criteria and delivery priorities. Own the successful delivery of large, complex, or high-risk client engagements Establish effective delivery governance, reporting structures and ways of working across projects and workstreams. Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, QA, design, and third-party vendors Monitor delivery performance and drive continuous improvement across teams, processes and tooling. Contribute to pre-sales and bid processes, shaping proposals and estimating delivery effort Manage project financials, change control and commercial performance while identifying opportunities for account growth and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Manage delivery risks and ensure appropriate quality, testing and release management practices are followed. Provide clear, data-driven reporting to stakeholders, including senior leadership

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Proven experience managing and delivering software or technology projects end-to-end, from discovery and requirements gathering through to delivery and handover, in a client-facing environment. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage and influence senior stakeholders. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage priorities, risks and scope effectively. Strong technical literacy and understanding of software delivery lifecycles. Excellent communication, organisation and multitasking skills.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Background in software development, QA or another technical discipline. Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as Claude, Cursor or ChatGPT. Experience contributing to pre-sales, solution design or project estimation.

REMUNERATION AND BENEFITS Flexible Hybrid working structure (3 days in office). 25 days holiday rising an extra day a year up to 30 days. Base salary commensurate with experience.
