Senior Client Executive – Argos Client Services

Nectar360 is a fast-paced, commercially focused business that helps brands connect with customers through insight-led, customer-centric media solutions. Within Argos Client Services, the team partners with Argos brands and internal stakeholders to create targeted, inspirational multi-channel campaigns that support brand objectives, drive customer engagement and contribute to commercial growth. Argos is one of the UK’s leading multi-channel retailers, offering customers choice, value and convenience across its store estate, website and mobile apps. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, forward-thinking team with ambitious growth plans and a clear focus on delivering high-quality client service, innovative media planning and measurable results.
More about the role
As a Senior Client Executive, you’ll work closely with clients, Commercial Trading teams and colleagues across the wider Sainsbury’s Argos and Nectar360 business to understand campaign objectives and develop customer-centric media plans. You’ll play a key role in responding to client briefs, building compelling proposals and presenting recommendations that deliver against both customer needs and commercial targets.
Day to day, you’ll manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Commercial Trading, Digital Trading, Digital Marketing, Planning, Nectar360 teams, suppliers and agencies. You’ll support the wider team in delivering annual revenue targets, contribute to account strategies and identify new media opportunities, trends and business opportunities. You’ll also help drive projects forward, ensuring tasks are completed within agreed timelines and supporting Client Executives within the team where needed.

This role offers the opportunity to work across a varied mix of clients, campaigns and stakeholders, combining commercial awareness, creativity and relationship management. You’ll be trusted to create plans for internal and external clients, negotiate and agree media plan budgets, and contribute to activity that delivers value for clients, customers and the business.
More about you
You’ll bring experience from a marketing, digital or commercial environment and be comfortable working in a fast-moving setting where priorities can shift. You’ll be organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Confident communication and presentation skills will be important, as you’ll regularly work with internal teams, external clients, suppliers and agencies.
You’ll be someone who can think through both a customer and commercial lens, using insight, curiosity and creativity to shape media plans that respond to client objectives. You’ll be comfortable working with ambiguity, changing situations and stretching targets, and will bring a solution-focused approach when challenges arise. Collaboration will be key, as you’ll work closely with teams across the business while contributing to a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture.
Essential criteria
- Experience working in a marketing, digital or commercial environment, with exposure to managing activity in a fast-moving business context.
- Ability to create customer-focused plans or proposals that respond to commercial objectives and client or stakeholder briefs.
- Experience building working relationships with internal stakeholders, external clients, suppliers or agencies.
- Ability to communicate and present information clearly to different audiences, including internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ability to organise, prioritise and deliver work to agreed deadlines, with attention to detail and practical Excel capability
