Senior Client Experience Manager / Senior Account Manager

**The Role: Senior B2B Account Manager (IT, SaaS, or Technology)

Join WestSpring, a reputable Managed Service Provider (MSP), and shape the future of our client accounts as a high-impact Account Manager. Reporting directly to the Client Services Director, you’ll lead revenue growth, client retention, and strategic solutions while delivering outstanding service experiences.

About the Role

This full-time, office-based role (WestSpring HQ, Bristol) is ideal for an experienced and motivated self-starter who thrives on achievement, communication, and relationship-building. You’ll wear multiple hats—from pitching dynamic solutions to managing strategic growth plans—ensuring clients receive exceptional service while exceeding financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

Your focus will be on driving growth, strengthening relationships, and consistently exceeding targets. Below are the core priorities:

Client & Opportunity Relationship Management
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term client relationships as the primary point of contact for all account-related matters
  • Understand and address client needs with tailored technical solutions, collaborating closely with the support & delivery teams
  • Pitch and sell high-value propositions for:
    • Networking, Cloud, and Managed IT Services
    • Unified Communications and Collaboration
    • Cyber Security
  • Drive account growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop tailored account plans to guide service and revenue growth
  • Close deals with strategic roadmaps that align with client objectives

Collaboration & Execution
  • Partner with Procurement to manage hardware replacement plans and lifecycles
  • Engage with technical teams in pre-sales, project planning, and issue resolution (knowledgeable ownership—not a "ping pong" play!)
  • Work with the Technical Delivery Team to enhance service quality and maintain client satisfaction
  • Collaborate across cross-functional areas to meet business targets
Performance & Reporting
  • Consistently exceed revenue, profit, and retention targets
  • Pipeline & forecasting management—build a robust pipeline and generate accurate reports
  • Monitor contract lifecycle (renewals, expansions, and service optimisations)
  • Present detailed account & performance reports regularly to leadership

Requirements & Experience

The ideal candidate meets—and surpasses—the following criteria:

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of MSP or SaaS experience in account management, preferably in B2B sales/consultative roles
  • Proven ability to drive profit, revenue growth, and retention targets in prior roles
  • Demonstrated experience multitasking accounts and opportunities simultaneously
  • Passion for client-centric service delivery—resolute and forward-thinking approach
  • Strong commercial acumen, with a focus on translating IT solutions into measurable business value
  • In-depth understanding of pipeline management, forecasting, and ROI alignment
  • Excellent presentation/negotiation skills—the ability to prepare and deliver compelling client pitches
  • Consultative sales expertise:
    • Identifying key pain points and solutions
    • Developing solutions from awareness to implementation
    • Resolving complex client challenges
  • Proficiency in building hybrid (internal & external) relationships—critical for cross-functional teamwork
  • British English required
