Location: Hybrid, minimum 2 days per week in Liverpool

Salary: From £48,000 per annum + 10% discretionary bonus

Level: Senior Client Manager-level role, with scope across the VMG partnership. This role exists to support and guide the Client team, ensuring a consistent, high-quality approach to client management, media planning, and commercial delivery.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Client Manager to join our Client team within Very Media Group. In this role, you'll play a key part in driving commercial growth, leading high-profile client relationships and delivering innovative retail media campaigns that create real impact. Working closely with brands, agencies and internal teams, you'll help shape best-in-class solutions while supporting the continued success of the Client team.

  • Experience supporting or mentoring team members
  • Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deliver against commercial objectives

What You’ll Be Doing

Your days will be dynamic. You might find yourself:

  • Supporting the management and development of the Client team, providing regular coaching, guidance, and feedback to build capability in client management, commercial understanding, and media planning.
  • Supporting the team in delivering against commercial targets, ensuring strong planning, proactive client engagement, and a clear focus on revenue and growth opportunities.
  • Contributing to weekly and monthly commercial reporting into TVG, ensuring outputs are accurate, clear, and aligned with stakeholder expectations.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with VMG and The Very Group (TVG) stakeholders, collaborating closely with category owners to ensure alignment on priorities and plans.
  • Helping to set and maintain a high standard of client service across the team, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery and strong supplier relationships.
  • Supporting improvements in media planning quality, ensuring plans are strategically aligned, commercially sound, and deliver against objectives.
  • Continually identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working, driving efficiencies and consistency across the team.
  • Supporting high-quality campaign reporting, ensuring insights are clear, actionable, and used to inform future planning.
  • Actively contributing to the ongoing development of team members, supporting personal growth, skill progression, and overall team capability.
  • Supporting on key strategic projects and initiatives, contributing to the evolution of VMG’s client offering and commercial approach.
