What you’ll be doing...

You will be working with large enterprise customers to help move their business forward. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor and add value for both us and our clients through solving their challenges and bringing them competitive advantage. You’ll bring a consultative approach to sales, identifying opportunities, and expertly packaging and tailoring solutions to meet our customer’s needs. Your role is critical to expansion of our business and revenue growth within EMEA.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Working with multinational businesses that are headquartered in the UK and Ireland.
  • Selling our solutions and services to a small number of assigned existing customers.
  • Understanding and evaluating industry, business and customer trends to build strategic plans that drive sales.
  • Developing strong working relationships with your customers up to C-level.
  • Building a solid understanding of the businesses that you work with, their objectives, market, and the challenges they face.
  • Creating strategic plans and crafting solutions to help our customers transform and realize their goals.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to secure winning outcomes for both us and our customers.
  • Effectively demonstrate the strength of our offering and the value that Verizon can bring.

What we’re looking for...

You are a salesperson that enjoys digging deep, to really understand your customer’s vision along with their unique situation and challenges. You like putting things together in new and creative ways, to best solve the customer’s most pressing needs. You’re engaging and can communicate in a way that generates customer excitement.

You’ll need to have:

  • Experience of selling technology solutions and services to multinational businesses.
  • Experience of serving as an account leader to existing customers and working closely with C-level Executives within these businesses to achieve account growth.
  • A background that has included the sale of network and cyber security services to large business customers, and leading a team of internal colleagues to achieve this goal.
  • Experience of selling solutions that align to tangible business outcomes.
  • Experience of working with technology ecosystem partners whilst pursuing opportunities.
  • Experience of managing and leading vendor and delivery partners.
  • Willingness to travel as the role requires.

Even better if you have:

  • Experience of consistently winning transformational business from large, multinational organisations.
  • Additional project management and service delivery experience.
  • Advanced questioning and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience of leading eco-system partners.
  • Knowledge and awareness of how modern technologies (such as Artificial Intelligence) can be applied to bring desired business outcomes.
  • Strong communication skills, to effectively position new ideas.
  • Persuaded and negotiated at C-level to create desired outcomes.
  • Balanced multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
