Job Opportunity: Senior Climate Risk & Strategy Lead

Location: London – Hybrid (3 days in the office per week)
Salary: £60,000–£67,000 (dependent on experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Climate Risk & Strategy Lead for an exciting opportunity within sustainability consulting, helping organisations navigate climate-related financial risks, sustainability regulations, and investor disclosure requirements.

This is a senior delivery role focused on climate risk reporting, financial modelling, transition planning, and sustainability strategy. You will work with mid-to large organisations, helping them assess climate risks, develop strategic responses, and align with evolving reporting frameworks including TCFD and IFRS S2.

  • Lead climate risk reporting and financial modelling engagements
  • Deliver TCFD, climate disclosure, and IFRS S2 readiness projects
  • Lead and drive the climate division within the company
  • Advise clients on climate-related risks, opportunities, and transition planning
  • Conduct climate risk assessments and scenario analysis
  • Support emissions reduction and transition planning initiatives
  • Perform climate-related due diligence for mid-market, multi-industry clients
  • Facilitate board-level workshops and stakeholder training sessions
  • Lead client projects and manage delivery teams
  • Support business development, proposal writing, and account growth
  • Contribute to thought leadership and market-facing content

Requirements

  • Experience in climate risk, sustainability consulting, or climate strategy
  • Experience across both transition and physical climate risks, with stronger expertise in transition risk preferred
  • Strong track record delivering climate risk assessments, disclosures, and transition risk analysis
  • Working knowledge of climate reporting frameworks such as TCFD, IFRS S2, and ISSB
  • Advanced financial modelling skills, including scenario analysis, forecasting, and climate-related financial impact assessment
  • Experience integrating climate risks into business strategy, governance, and risk management frameworks
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Commercially minded, with experience in business development, upselling, proposal writing, and account growth
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring team members and supporting service-line development
  • Confident facilitating client workshops and developing climate risk disclosures
