About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Fellow (ST5-7) to replace a current gap in service provision for twelve months. The remit of the post holder will be to work within the multi-disciplinary team providing and further developing care for women in Maternity & Gynaecology. In addition, the individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the department.

The post-holder will be expected to take part equally with other trainee in such a rota with EWTD with retrospective cover. The post will be based at the Princess Royal site of Kings College Hospital and the proposed timetable is attached. Some cross site working to encourage full integration of the departments may be required in the future. The On-Call commitment is for a 1:8 rota. As a junior employee of the Trust, you will work in close cooperation with, and support other clinical, medical professional, and managerial colleagues in providing high-quality healthcare to the Trust’s patients. Although the post is not recognised by the Royal College of Gynaecologist as training posts, they offer excellent educational opportunities and the successful applicant will be given the same educational opportunities. Applications are welcome from senior residents keen on pursuing portfolio pathway for CESR.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
