About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Fellow to join the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust Dermatology Department, ideal for those pursuing a career in dermatology. This role offers training within one of the largest dermatology departments in London, renowned for its established reputation in dermatology training.
Department Overview
The Dermatology Department at Barnet & Chase Farm Hospitals provides:
- Comprehensive general and specialist outpatient clinics, including consultations with highly specialised interests
- Tertiary referral centre for:
- Severe eczema
- Connective tissue disorders
- Psoriasis
- Active clinical trials unit
- Full skin cancer service, including Mohs surgery
- Inpatient capacity serving North & North-Central London populations

This is a full-time, fixed-term post based at Barnet General and Chase Farm Hospital sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Care for patients with skin disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings in collaboration with trainees and consultants
- Join a dynamic team within one of the UK’s largest specialist skin cancer units
Eligibility & Requirements
- MRCP (Part 2 written) or equivalent
- Registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)
- 1+ year of experience in dermatology preferred
- MSc in Dermatology is a strong advantage
Work Environment
- Established tertiary referral network for advanced skin conditions in North London and Home Counties
- Wide-ranging specialist clinical experience, including:
- Melanoma patients: Local excision, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and advanced immunotherapies/targeted therapies
- Non-melanoma skin cancers: Mohs micrographic surgery and immunotherapy/systemic treatment
- Weekly multidisciplinary skin cancer clinics, seated alongside oncology and plastic surgeons
- Cutaneous lymphoma management
