Fixed Term contract for 12 months.
Senior Clinical Fellow Role
The Senior Clinical Fellow role is required to support the Eye Unit through Oculoplastic clinics, minor operations, botulinum toxin clinics, and general Ophthalmology on-call. The role is to provide support to the Oculoplastic service working under the two Oculoplastic Consultants, as well as working independently and autonomously.
- Independent Oculoplastic Clinics:
- Minor eyelid abnormalities
- Dry eyes/tearfilm disturbance / lacrimal issues
- Running minor operations clinics and Botulinum toxin clinics
- This could be expanded to ectropion/entropion repair and additional surgery depending on experience
- Filling in theatre lists when the Consultants are away
