Job Responsibilities
Managing Haematology Emergencies
- Managing Haematology emergencies within the ward-based setting.
- Managing patients within the new and follow-up clinic including complex chronic conditions.
Day Unit Management
- Day unit management of patients including prescribing chemotherapy and managing complications.
Laboratory-Based Haematology
- Reporting blood films and Bone marrow biopsies.
- Use of the lab for transfusion medicine and coagulation testing.
- Performing practical procedures including Bone marrow biopsies.
