Job Opportunity in Obstetrics and Emergency Gynaecology
The successful candidate would join the Middle Grade rota covering both Obstetrics and Emergency Gynaecology full shift rota.
The successful candidate would participate in outpatient clinics for both Gynaecology and Ante-Natal care along with assisting Consultant colleagues in theatre.
There will also be an opportunity to participate in governance and MDT meetings as well as teaching and reflection sessions.

These are the current applicable pay scales; however, these may change upon implementation of the framework agreement for reform to the terms and conditions of service for resident doctors and dentists in Wales. Further details can be found at BMA+Framework+Agreement+Wales.
This post is fixed term until February 2nd 2027 to cover a Deanery vacancy.
About the Role
The department of Obs & Gynae aims to provide a complete programme of care to both emergency and elective patients, with triage and redirection of those patients more properly treated elsewhere. The post holder will be required to participate in a 1:11 Full Shift System which includes one week of nights per 11 week cycle with built-in prospective cover. On Call duties take place in Prince Charles Hospital only. Duties will comprise the assessment, monitoring, treatment, and follow-up of emergency patients under the supervision of the Consultant. This will include Labour Ward cover.
