🚨 Senior Clinical Negligence Lawyer | 6+ PQE | Bristol | Hybrid
If you're an experienced Clinical Negligence Lawyer looking for high-quality work without the bureaucracy that often comes with larger national firms, this could be worth a conversation.
I'm working with a highly regarded Bristol firm that's looking to grow its specialist Clinical Negligence team. The department is consistently recognised by both Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500, with a reputation for handling some of the region's most complex and high-value claims.
You'll be trusted with a varied caseload of serious and catastrophic injury claims while working alongside recognised specialists in the field. The role also offers the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers, play a part in developing the team and get involved in business development if that's something you enjoy.

💼 What you'll be doing:
- Managing a complex caseload of pre-action and litigated clinical negligence claims.
- Advising on funding arrangements including CFAs, Legal Aid and legal expenses insurance.
- Drafting pleadings, witness statements and court documents.
- Instructing experts and Counsel on high-value matters.
- Representing clients at hearings, inquests and case management conferences where appropriate.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Playing an active role in the continued growth of the department.
👤 About you:
You'll be a Solicitor or Legal Executive with 6+ years' PQE and strong experience handling claimant clinical negligence matters. Accreditation with APIL, AvMA or the Law Society would be welcomed but isn't essential.
