Bodyline Medical Wellness Clinics is a leading CQC-registered clinical services and clinical research group with nearly 20 years of experience delivering patient-centred, medically supported health programmes. With seven clinics across the Northwest and a nationwide telehealth service, Bodyline specialises in obesity, metabolic and female health — offering GLP-1 weight management, hormone replacement therapy, and diagnostic health services.
As part of our continued growth and commitment to innovation, accessibility and improved health outcomes across the UK, Bodyline has expanded through a dedicated Clinical Research Trial Services and is recruiting a Senior Clinical Research Coordinator.
With a focus on improving access to cutting-edge therapies and studies in the areas of obesity, metabolic disorders, and women's health, this patient-centred service connects patients with new research opportunities and provides sponsors and CROs with a trusted clinical partner for patient recruitment, trial management and participant supported treatment.

Role Summary
The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) is an experienced laboratory-based research professional and as the successful role-holder you will be responsible for overseeing complex sample processing activities, supporting laboratory quality systems, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities
Laboratory Leadership
- Provide oversight of daily laboratory operations.
- Coordinate laboratory workloads across multiple studies.
- Act as primary laboratory contact for sponsors and CROs regarding sample management.
- Review laboratory documentation for accuracy and compliance.
- Lead study-specific laboratory set-up activities.
- Support laboratory process improvement initiatives.

Training and Development
- Mentor CRCs and new laboratory staff.
- Support development of laboratory SOPs and work instructions.
Quality and Compliance
- Lead investigations into laboratory deviations and incidents.
- Review temperature excursions and corrective actions.
- Support internal audits and quality improvement activities.
- Ensure laboratory readiness for inspections and monitoring visits.
Clinical Support
- Perform advanced study procedures within competency.
- Support complex participant visits as required.
- Assist investigators with protocol implementation.
Essential Skills
- Significant experience within clinical research laboratories.
- Advanced knowledge of sample processing requirements.
- Experience mentoring staff.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems.
