We're looking for an exceptional operational leader to help shape the future of neurodevelopmental care in Herefordshire.
This is more than a service management role. It is an opportunity to lead, build and transform pathways for ADHD, Autism and wider neurodevelopmental support, ensuring children, adults and families receive timely, accessible and person-centred care.
As our Senior Clinical Services Operations Manager for Neurodevelopmental Services, you'll work with clinical leaders, partners, patients and families to develop high-quality assessment, prescribing and wrap-around support services that make a real difference.
We're looking for someone who combines strong operational grip with compassion, curiosity and the ability to bring people with them. You'll understand planned care, waiting list management and performance delivery, but you'll also be passionate about co-production, lived experience and improving outcomes for neurodivergent people.

Main duties of the job
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and develop Taurus Healthcare's Neurodiverse Services portfolio, including Adult ADHD, Adult Autism, Children's ADHD and Children's Autism services.
The post holder will provide operational leadership across neurodevelopmental services, ensuring safe, effective and patient centred care while driving service improvement, innovation and growth.
Key responsibilities include leading the mobilisation of new services, managing demand, capacity, referrals and waiting lists, and ensuring delivery against contractual, quality and performance targets.
The role will oversee governance, risk management, workforce planning, recruitment, budget management and performance reporting, ensuring services remain sustainable and deliver value for money.
Working closely with clinical leaders, commissioners, NHS partners, education, social care and voluntary sector organisations, the post holder will help develop integrated pathways and innovative support services for neurodivergent people and their families.
The successful candidate will champion co production, ensuring the views and experiences of patients, carers and families shape service design, delivery and continuous improvement, while helping to influence the future of neurodevelopmental care across Herefordshire.

Job Description
Job responsibilities
- Lead and develop Taurus Healthcare's Neurodiverse Services portfolio, including Adult ADHD, Adult Autism, Children's ADHD and Children's Autism services.
- Drive the mobilisation, implementation and ongoing management of new neurodevelopmental services and pathways across Herefordshire.
- Provide day-to-day operational leadership, ensuring services are safe, effective, efficient and patient-centred.
- Develop and deliver service transformation programmes that improve access, reduce waiting times and enhance patient outcomes.
- Monitor demand, capacity, referrals and waiting lists, ensuring services achieve performance targets and contractual requirements.
- Establish and oversee robust governance, operational procedures, risk management and quality assurance processes.
- Lead workforce planning, recruitment, staff management and service resilience across neurodiverse services.
- Develop and maintain performance frameworks, dashboards and KPI reporting to support service improvement and accountability.
- Manage budgets, financial performance, invoicing processes and income recovery, ensuring services operate sustainably and deliver value for money.
- Work collaboratively with clinical leaders, commissioners, NHS partners, education providers, social care and voluntary sector organisations to create integrated care pathways.
- Lead the development of innovative wrap-around support services, including wellbeing, peer support, health coaching and family support initiatives.
- Ensure the voices of neurodivergent people, families and carers directly influence service design, delivery and continuous improvement through co-production.
- Maintain high standards of clinical governance, patient safety, safeguarding and regulatory compliance across all services.
- Represent Taurus Healthcare at senior stakeholder and system-wide meetings, influencing the future direction of neurodevelopmental care across Herefordshire.

Qualifications
Essential
- Degree level qualification or equivalent operational management experience.
- Evidence of leadership and management development.
- Project or programme management qualification or equivalent experience.
- Good standard of education (GCSE level in Maths and English, or equivalent)
