At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.
In relation to Band 3 Senior Clinical Support Worker roles, we are currently able to recruit successfully from the domestic labour market and have a sufficient pool of suitably qualified and appointable candidates. As a result, visa sponsorship is not available for this role at this time. This position is kept under regular review and may change in the future should labour market conditions or service requirements alter.
Role Overview
The Senior Clinical Support Worker has a breadth of knowledge across the fields of nursing, providing holistic and person-centred care and support to patients in the Acute Stroke services at Royal Stoke Hospital. The Senior Clinical Support Worker works independently within their sphere of nursing while under the supervision of registered nurses.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate a level of skill and understanding which enables them to undertake specific tasks delegated by the registered nurse and in accordance with relevant procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Undertake both routine and specially identified tasks for which they have been trained and assessed as competent.
- Display the skills required to work in the TIA clinic. Coordinating care for clinic patients alongside the wider MDT.
