Senior Cloud Engineer
We’re recruiting for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a public sector organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cloud professional with public sector experience to help design, deliver and optimise secure, high-performing cloud infrastructure, support business applications, and improve availability, resilience and user experience across critical services.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead on cloud infrastructure design, delivery and optimisation.
- Support operating systems, business applications and cloud services.
- Improve availability, capacity, monitoring and incident management.
- Work across systems integration, automation and continuous improvement.
- Embed security, resilience and best practice throughout all services.

What we’re looking for:
- Strong cloud engineering or infrastructure experience.
- Public sector experience is essential.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure and modern cloud technologies.
- Experience with automation, scripting, CI/CD and infrastructure as code.
- A solid understanding of security, service support and operational resilience.
