Cloud Platform Architect – London – £90k–£110k + Benefits
The Opportunity
We are hiring a Cloud Platform Architect to help design and build the cloud platform for a brand-new international iGaming operator as they launch across Europe and beyond.
This is a genuinely rare opportunity to join a well-funded startup where cloud architecture, automation and scalability sit at the heart of the engineering strategy.
You'll take ownership of the company's cloud platform, DevOps tooling and infrastructure automation as the business scales across multiple regulated markets.
Working closely with the CTO and founders, you'll help build a secure, scalable, cloud-native platform capable of supporting millions of daily transactions and high-volume real-time data processing.
This is far more than an operational role. You'll influence cloud architecture, improve automation, optimise infrastructure, shape engineering standards and have genuine ownership over the future platform.
The business is heavily invested in AI, automation and modern engineering practices, with a collaborative culture where engineers are encouraged to influence technical direction from day one.
Technology
You'll work across a modern cloud-native technology stack including:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
