This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior C#/.NET Developer based in United Kingdom.
We are seeking an experienced software engineer to design and build scalable, high-performance applications in a fully remote environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work on complex technical challenges using modern development practices and cloud technologies.
You will contribute to enterprise-level solutions, architecture decisions, and the evolution of reliable software platforms.

Accountabilities
The Senior C#/.NET Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions while contributing to technical direction and engineering excellence.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable enterprise applications using C# and .NET technologies.
- Build and maintain resilient software architectures following modern engineering principles and best practices.
- Develop and optimize cloud-based solutions using AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
- Contribute to microservices architecture design and implementation to support scalable and maintainable systems.
- Work with relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL to build efficient data-driven applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and deliver high-quality software.
- Develop front-end integrations and user-facing features using React.js where required.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor other developers and contribute to building strong engineering practices.
- Take ownership of projects, ensuring reliability, performance, and operational readiness.

Requirements
The ideal candidate is a highly experienced software engineer with strong expertise in backend development, cloud technologies, and scalable application design.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrated ownership of complex projects.
- Strong proficiency in C# and.NET with experience building enterprise-grade applications.
- Solid experience designing and implementing scalable software architectures.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
- Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
- Experience with React.js and modern front-end development practices.
- Ability or potential to mentor developers and contribute to technical leadership activities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across different time zones in a remote environment.
