£90-110k Basic Salary + 15% Bonus + Benefits
London (3-4 days a week in the office)
STOIX is supporting the building out of a new Insights function within a $multi-billion global technology and services business, and this is one of roles responsible for establishing it.
You'll own the commercial read on revenue and gross profit for the CFO: where growth is really coming from, what's driving margin dilution, and which customers, products or deals are quietly making or losing money.
This isn't a reporting role dressed up as analysis. If your current job is producing a monthly pack that nobody's decisions ever changed, this isn't for you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
What you'll actually do:
- Decompose revenue and margin movements into volume, price, mix and customer drivers, and land on a commercial verdict, not just a variance
- Dig into penetration, attach, retention and churn across a high-volume customer and product base
- Produce insight that reaches the CFO and shapes real calls on pricing, go-to-market and resource allocation
- Lead a pod (senior manager plus analyst) and set the analytical agenda from day one
What gets you shortlisted:
- 8-12 years in commercial finance, sales finance, revenue analytics or FP&A, ideally from a large high-volume, gross-profit-driven business (technology reseller, distribution, FMCG, wholesale)
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent commercial pedigree if the evidence is there
- A genuine, current habit of using AI tools (Claude, Copilot or similar) to work faster and think sharper, not just awareness that they exist
- Real intellectual curiosity: you ask why until you hit the actual answer, not the first plausible one
