This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious commercial lawyer looking to step away from the traditional private practice model whilst continuing to advise some of the world's most exciting high-growth businesses.
Working as an extension of your clients' in-house legal teams, you'll build long-term relationships with founders, leadership teams and scaling technology businesses across the UK, Europe and the US.
The Opportunity
This is much more than a commercial contracts role.
You'll work closely with innovative businesses across sectors including AI, SaaS, FinTech, consumer technology and venture-backed scale-ups, becoming a trusted adviser on their day-to-day commercial legal needs.
You'll enjoy genuine client ownership, high levels of autonomy and the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers whilst accelerating your own career in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
