Senior Commercial Lawyer

University of Wolverhampton | £80,000 | Hybrid Working | 12-Month Fixed Term Contract

Are you a commercial lawyer looking for genuinely varied, high-quality in-house work?

The University of Wolverhampton is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer to join its Legal Services team for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

A key part of the role will involve supporting partnership and franchise arrangements with NHS organisations, colleges, and private sector providers, helping to develop innovative educational partnerships while protecting the University's commercial interests.

We're Looking For Someone With

  • Significant commercial contracts experience
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
  • A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
  • The confidence to advise senior stakeholders
  • Higher education experience (preferred), or strong commercial experience gained within the wider public sector
