About the Role
Drive Commercial performance across a Strategic Client Portfolio
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to provide commercial leadership and support across a key client account. This role is responsible for ensuring robust contract management, effective risk mitigation, strong governance, and the delivery of commercially sound outcomes that support business growth and client satisfaction.
Working closely with operational, finance, procurement, legal, and leadership teams, you will act as a trusted commercial advisor, helping to maximise value, improve performance, and protect the organisation's commercial interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for a strategic client account.
- Provide expert guidance on contractual obligations, entitlements, and commercial governance.
- Lead and support commercial negotiations, contract variations, and change management activities.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and commercial risks.
- Drive commercially beneficial outcomes while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Monitor contract performance, service commitments, incentives, and financial impacts.
- Support supplier and subcontractor commercial management activities.
- Assist with dispute resolution and the management of commercial issues.
- Deliver commercial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Promote best-practice contract management and commercial governance across the account.

About You
You are a commercially minded professional with a strong understanding of contract management and business risk. You have the confidence to influence stakeholders, challenge constructively, and negotiate positive outcomes in complex environments.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in commercial management, contract management, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts and risk management principles.
- Experience supporting or leading complex commercial negotiations.
- Ability to analyse commercial issues and develop practical solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Sound financial and commercial acumen.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable
- Experience within outsourced services, facilities management, property, infrastructure, engineering, or professional services environments.
- Exposure to large-scale or multi-site client contracts.
- Relevant commercial, legal, business, or procurement qualifications.
