About The Role
The Crowd is partnering with an exciting and dynamic mid-sized design company seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to join their London-based team.
This position focuses on driving efficiency across contracts, bids, budgets, and cost management, while providing commercial oversight and support throughout project delivery.
With a proven senior-level track record in a commercially focused role within architecture or the built environment sector, you will collaborate with finance, business development, and design management teams to lead and shape the commercial direction of the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic support to the leadership team and identify new business opportunities
- Gather essential data for, review, and create proposals, tenders, and bids
- Develop commercial strategies to address Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Review and negotiate project contracts and budgets
- Oversee the Letter of Tendrilization (LTA) process
- Collaborate with the wider team on project set-ups
- Manage project/contract disputes with professionalism
- Provide project updates, contract obligations, and risk assessments

- Expertise in strategic commercial responses, document drafting, and contract negotiation
- Experience tendering to subcontractors
- Methodical, organised, and highly detail-oriented
- Confident and dynamic in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- MS Office proficiency, particularly Excel and Word
- Proactive team player
