The Role
As a Senior Commercial Manager, you will take a strategic lead in managing commercial delivery across complex mechanical, electrical and HVAC works within a major nuclear new build project. You will operate at the heart of a collaborative alliance, driving performance, managing risk, and ensuring robust, compliant commercial practices.
The role is full time, 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, based at Hinkley Point C in Bridgwater, Somerset. Hybrid working patterns are available – three days on-site and two days working from home.
Day-to-day, you will be required to:
- Lead commercial activities across multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring alignment with alliance objectives
- Manage contract administration and change control processes in line with NEC frameworks
- Drive effective cost control, forecasting and reporting using tools such as CEMAR and Power BI
- Support audits, cost verification and payment certification to maintain compliance and transparency
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across project delivery teams and client organisations

Essential Experience
- Demonstrable experience delivering commercial leadership on large-scale infrastructure or engineering projects
- Strong knowledge of NEC3 or NEC4 contracts and change management processes
- Experience working within joint venture or alliance environments
- Proven ability to lead, develop and influence high-performing teams
- Familiarity with commercial systems such as CEMAR, SharePoint or Power BI
Qualifications
- Professional membership or working towards accreditation such as MCIPS, IACCM / WCC or Postgraduate Certificate in Commercial Management (advantageous)
Security Clearance
