Location: Hinkley Point C, Bridgwater, Somerset + Hybrid Working Arrangements (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

About the Role

At Cavendish Nuclear, we empower people to build a safer, more secure world. As our Senior Commercial Manager, you’ll play a dynamic role at the Hinkley Point C nuclear new build project—guiding commercial excellence across complex mechanical, electrical, and HVAC works while collaborating in a high-performing alliance environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial delivery across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring alignment with alliance strategic goals
  • Oversee contract administration and effect change control under NEC3/NEC4 frameworks
  • Manage cost control, forecasting, and reporting using systems like CEMAR, Power BI, and SharePoint
  • Support audits, cost verification, and payment certification, ensuring compliance and transparency
  • Foster stakeholder relationships with project partners and partner organisations
  • Develop best practices for risk management and compliance in high-stakes environments

Requirements and Qualifications

Experience

Essential qualifications include:

  • Demonstrable leadership in commercial management of large-scale infrastructure or engineering projects
  • Deep knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts, change management frameworks, and alliance/joint venture environments
  • Proven ability to lead, influence, and develop high-performing teams
  • Familiarity with commercial tools (CEMAR, Power BI, SharePoint)

Qualifications

  • Professional accreditation (e.g., MCIPS, IACCM/WCC) or working towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Commercial Management (highly advantageous)

Security Clearance

  • Ability to attain and maintain UK Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance (اختهepsobv_vended validation via GOV.UK).
