About the Company
Our client is a well-established specialist subcontractor delivering a major, high-profile subcontract package in Central London on a landmark project for one of the UK's leading Tier One main contractors.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to lead the commercial management of this flagship project. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys being directly involved in the detail, rather than managing a large commercial team.
The initial contract is expected to run for 12 months or more.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial management of a major structural steel package.
- Manage contractual and commercial matters throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with project delivery teams and the Tier One main contractor.
- Be supported by a Quantity Surveyor while retaining overall commercial responsibility.
- Ensure robust cost control, reporting and commercial governance.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Significant commercial management experience
- Structural steel package experience
- A proven track record on large, complex steelwork projects.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to work independently.
- Experience working alongside Tier One main contractors.
- Availability to start at short notice (preferred).

Working Arrangements
- Hybrid working.
- Typically 1–2 days per week on site in Central London.
- Remaining time can be worked from the Central London office or remotely from home.
Salary / Contract
Competitive day rate or package, depending on experience.
