Role: Senior Commercial Marketing Analyst
Location: Hybrid - 3 days per week Clapham Junction
This is a role for an analyst who wants their work to genuinely shape how a major UK business spends its marketing budget and grows its membership base. As Senior Commercial Marketing Analyst at The Gym Group, you will sit at the heart of our Analytics team and partner directly with Marketing, CRM, Paid Media, and Commercial stakeholders to turn data into decisions that matter. What You'll Be Doing...
- Conducting deep dives into member and commercial data to surface clear, actionable insights for Marketing and Commercial teams.
- Partnering with CRM to support A/B testing, analyze campaign performance, and enable smarter targeting and personalisation.
- Working with Paid Media to evaluate channel mix and paid media effectiveness, and with Web Analytics to understand the digital member journey.
- Applying Marketing Mix Modelling outputs to inform budget allocation and improve return on marketing investment.
- Building and maintaining dashboards and reports in PowerBI that help stakeholders make faster, better decisions.
- Supporting audience segmentation and personalisation work to improve campaign performance and member experience.
- Communicating insight clearly to stakeholders at all levels, from data teams to senior commercial leaders.

What We're Looking For...
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing, commercial, or customer analytics.
- Advanced SQL skills and strong proficiency in Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience with data visualisation tools, ideally PowerBI.
- Hands-on experience analysing CRM and/or paid media marketing performance.
- Practical knowledge of A/B testing, regression, and segmentation techniques in a marketing context.
- Confident communicator who can translate complex data into clear business recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Permanent right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role).
