Senior Commercial Planning Manager

Customer Model Strategy Planner

About New Look

We’re the feel-good fashion brand making style accessible and fun—operating across our website, mobile app, and over 300 stores in the UK. We drive That New Look Feeling by living our core values: we play to win, customer obsessed, and it starts with me.

THE ROLE

This is a rare, ground-breaking opportunity. As we build and embed New Look’s first customer-led 5-Year Plan — the Customer Model, the business requires a strategic, commercially sharp planner to ensure the model is effectively understood, communicated, and operationalised across the organisation.

This role is not a data or reporting function—it’s a strategy and translation role, converting model outputs into actionable commercial narratives, planning frameworks, and strategic recommendations.

The role acts as the bridge between Customer Analytics, Insight, Finance, BMD, and Commercial, serving as the organisation’s internal strategic planning consultancy.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Influence

  • Provide commercial and customer strategy input, ensuring the customer remains at the heart of business priorities.
  • Shape customer strategy and data usage to foster a customer-centric culture.
  • Use data and analytical insight to drive channel trading plans, customer profitability analysis, and EBITDA incremental strategies.
  • Partner with the Customer Senior Management Team to:
    • Influence priorities and ensure KPIs are robust, understood, and delivered.
    • Align corporate strategy with financial plans and channel/customer strategies.

Customer Model Interpretation & Communication

  • Own the commercial narrative for Customer Model outputs, translating complex scenarios, assumptions, and results into clear board-level stories.
  • Develop executive-ready planning documents and presentations linking model outputs to decision-making.
  • Support the Head of Customer Intelligence & Commercial Planning by presenting Customer Model outputs to Leadership and Board.
  • Become the go-to point of contact for business teams seeking to understand the model’s implications.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
