Senior Commercial & Regulatory Counsel Up to £140,000 + car allowance + bonus 3 days/week in office in Croydon, UK
A multinational retail/consumer goods giant are recruiting for a Senior Commercial & Regulatory Counsel to join an established legal function. This role will carry a heavy focus on commercial legal work, with an additional focus on the topics of ESG, healthcare, security & sustainability.

Responsibilities • Lead on drafting/negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements • Act as a legal subject matter expert on matters relating to ESG, healthcare & security • The expectation is that this role will line manage one other more junior lawyer in the team in the future • Horizon scanning - stay abreast of regulatory developments affecting the organisation • Act as the Legal business partner to the HR/People function on all commercial agreements

Requirements • Qualified lawyer, c. 10-15PQE • Significant & recent experience operating in a commercial legal role - experienced in negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements • Prior legal experience relating to ESG, healthcare or security regulations is highly desirable
