Role Overview And Responsibilities

As part of our Global Sales Organisation, the Senior Commercial Specialist plays a key role in the company pricing strategy for the Components Division.

This is a Global role that interacts regularly with Sales, Factory, Engineering, and Product teams in Europe, Asia and North America to establish pricing strategies, and formulate responses to Requests for Quotation (RFQs).

In this role the successful candidate will make pricing decisions that will help TT Electronics to win business while maximising profits. This position will interact with both Internal and External Customers.

Role l ocation: UK, US, or Asia would be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities Include

Responding to daily RFQ's for Optoelectronics, Resistors, and Variable Resistor product lines. Making pricing decisions based on established guidelines. Researching and analysing Major Bid Packages and Volume Price Agreements. Comparing and analysing previous bids to determine best pricing strategy to win. Soliciting from, and providing inputs to, the Product line Directors in a team effort to achieve the most competitive proposal response. Actively participating in the negotiation process. Analysing profit margins. Analysing and report final award results. Developing a basic knowledge for all products including strengths and weaknesses verses our competition through extensive product training. Gaining the ability to cross reference our products to our competitors or gaining that information from our engineering team. Assisting with the development and production of standard price lists and Maintaining Pricing Portal as needed. Working with the Commercial Executive to complete this action in a timely manner, including periodic updates & revisions.

Qualifications, Skills And Attributes

What We're Looking For:

A business related degree, or a relevant work experience. Experience working within Inside Sales, Product Management, or other Pricing roles. Basic Knowledge of the electronic components industry - Resistors, and /or Optoelectronics Preferred. Excellent analytical & strategic thinking skills. Strong negotiation skills. Strong Proficiency with MS Excel. Proficiency in MS Word, Windows, Outlook, and Power Point. Exceptional organisational skills. Active listening skills. Proficient mathematics skills. Excellent written English & verbal communication skills. The ability to Work with minimal supervision as part of a team. The desire to grow within the team and increase skills and responsibility. The ability to travel domestically and /or internationally, as needed up to 25% of the time.

The following would enhance your application but is not essential to apply:

Fluency in German, Spanish, French, or Mandarin (Chinese). Knowledge of SAP & Sales Force (CRM). Experience Managing Projects and / or People.
