Senior Communications Lead
(Maternity Leave Cover - 1 year)
We’re looking for a creative and hands-on Senior Communications Lead to join our ambitious Commercial Team at Digital i. This is an exciting opportunity for a communications professional who wants to make a real impact in a fast-growing company at the intersection of data, entertainment, and media.
You’ll take the lead on Digital i’s strategic storytelling and thought leadership, raising awareness of our industry-leading streaming measurement and further establishing Digital i as the leading provider of global streaming behavioral data. This role is ideal for someone with extensive press contacts and experience in the entertainment industry, specifically at the cross-section of entertainment and data.
The ideal candidate will already be familiar with key strategic shifts in the entertainment industry and perhaps a regular face on the events circuit across Europe and the US. The perfect person for this role will already understand how ethically-collected, high-quality viewing data empowers major global streamers and studios to find their niche in an ever-changing landscape.
You’ll work closely with the Marketing Lead as well as colleagues across sales, research, and leadership, ensuring a consistent and compelling message across every touchpoint, from the press to events to our in-house whitepapers. This role is initially a 12-month Mat Leave cover with the scope to transition into a permanent position as the team grows. Ideally, we would like this person to be able to spend time with your colleagues in our Bristol office; however, we can be flexible on location.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
