Female Applicants Only | Full UK Driving Licence Essential

Empowering Lives Through Compassionate Care

Founded in 2005, Bradcare has proudly supported individuals and families across South Derbyshire for over 20 years. Our mission is simple: to help people live independently, safely and comfortably in the place they cherish most – their own home.

At Bradcare, we believe exceptional care is built on compassion, dignity, integrity and genuine human connection. Our team plays a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support that enables individuals to maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

We are currently seeking an experienced and committed Senior Community Care Assistant to join our growing team.

Due to the nature of intimate personal care provided, this position is open to female applicants only, in accordance with the genuine occupational requirement provisions of the Equality Act 2010.

About the Role

As a Senior Community Care Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering and maintaining high standards of person-centred care to individuals within their own homes.

This role is suited to an experienced care professional who has worked within complex care environments, nurse-led services or community-based care and is looking to take the next step in their career.

You will support individuals with higher levels of need, ensuring care is delivered safely, respectfully and in accordance with individual care plans, risk assessments and Bradcare's quality standards.

Working alongside the management team, you will help promote best practice, support colleagues and contribute to the continued development of our care service.

This is a full-time contracted position with a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, including:

  • Morning shifts
  • Lunchtime visits
  • Tea time and evening shifts
  • Emergency cover calls where required

Guaranteed contracted hours are available for successful applicants.

Areas We Cover

We currently provide care services throughout:

  • Swadlincote
  • Linton
  • Overseal
  • Woodville
  • Newhall
  • Midway
  • Church Gresley
  • Castle Gresley

Where possible, care rounds are allocated geographically to minimise travel time and support a positive work-life balance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
