Community Support Worker – Clacton, Essex
Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for highly motivated Community Support Workers to join Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust (EPUT). EPUT is a highly successful and ambitious organisation, playing a lead role in the "Think Ahead" initiative and providing:
- Mental health services
- Substance misuse services
- Specialist, award-winning services
Serving a population of approximately 2.5 million across Essex, Bedfordshire, and Suffolk.
About the Role
You will join community teams based in Clacton, Essex, using a multi-disciplinary approach to deliver:
- Care, promotion of recovery, and independence
- Social inclusion seven days per week
- Support for people of all ages experiencing mental health illness in the Tendring Districts
This is an excellent opportunity to develop and further skills working with this client group in a community setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as part of community support teams providing integrated care.
- Engage with clients to help them live independently and inclusively.
- Contribute to holistic recovery-focused support for vulnerable individuals.
- Work flexibly but typically during office hours and community visiting times.
