At HCA UK we’re incredibly proud of our team culture. It’s this sense of connection and collaboration that allows us to deliver exceptional outcomes for our patients. But, we know that no hospital team is complete without the vital support of its bank – and now, we’re looking for people to be part of our growing Bank team of Complementary Therapists in Manchester.
We deliver exceptional services across the Manchester area via the Christie Private Care Centre. Our private healthcare facilities in Manchester have specialist expertise in caring for patients with common to complex conditions and have dedicated treatment and support services for those diagnosed with cancer.
As part of our bank team, you’ll have first refusal ahead of agencies on a range of shifts across our network of leading private hospitals, all of which are currently rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC. It’s a fantastic chance to gain exposure to one of the UK’s leading private healthcare providers while retaining that all-important flexibility. You can expect to work alongside leading consultants, expert colleagues, and be recognised for the vital role you play within our team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
