About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Lawyer & Deputy Group MLRO to join a growing legal and compliance function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the review, development and maintenance of compliance and ethics policies across areas including:
    • Anti-Money Laundering (AML)

    • Competition Law
    • Other relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Evaluate existing compliance controls, processes and procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting the implementation of enhanced frameworks and practices.
  • Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice on compliance and regulatory matters.
  • Develop and maintain training programmes, guidance notes and communication materials to ensure employees understand their compliance obligations.
  • Manage and advise on compliance investigations and incidents, engaging external legal advisers and subject matter experts where required.
  • Oversee data subject access request processes and support the organisation's compliance with GDPR and wider data protection obligations.
  • Support senior leadership with compliance reporting, governance activities and regulatory updates.
  • Collaborate closely with legal, compliance and business teams to drive continuous improvement and embed best-practice compliance standards across the organisation.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
